I found this near-mint BD on a vintage clothing stall at a very cheap price indeed. The badges are to the 3rd Merioneth battalion, which was from a small Welsh town called Machynlleth. The April 1941 date is clearer in real life. WW2 is not really me but I like this.

Very nice and not often to see Welsh home guards BD's in my experience. The black line through the label means the sizing is incorrect. Nice to see such an early example, being labelled BD serge rather than the later versions which have a year pattern designation, starting with the 40 pattern.
