It certainly is an unique pattern in a sea of MC like patterns.

    The "stripes" add another dimension.

Wasn't this 68, Sal? 😄😄😄 ... however, i like this pattern. At least not just another Multicam copy, yet being a multi camouflage. In think during autumn it fits quite nicely into the Alps area.

Well its certainly a wannabe Multicam style pattern and colors. But its to khaki and bright for use in forests during summer IMHO. I fear they are planning to ditch the digital desert when this uniform gets issued in larger numbers and just issue one uniform for home and foreign use

Interesting fact. But why ditching the digi Desert pattern?
This is such a great camo. Perhaps a question of money.
Although, the ÖBH is currently also using two different patterns with KAZ03, olive and beige. Well let's see what the uniform future brings for Austria. It certainly is interesting, though, after so many years without camo, finally two patterns (own ones) to choose from.

Mostly because of cost-saving reasons I fear. But thats just a guess....
Maybe they will make an own arid version of the new non-digi camo, or stick with just one version. Who knows... time and money will tell. But budget wont change to a positive direction for sure.

I like it! Commercial, yes? Is this being worn by special forces types? Is it available to the general public?

Now the Austrian digital camouflage family is united in one thread with a set of each variant!

SF camo pattern trousers, looks a bit goofy but interesting Laughing :

Thanks S. BTW: The digital desert uniform will be replaced by 2022 with a non digital version, will look similar in coloration and pattern but somehow sad to hear.
According to some news goretex uniform and UBACS will be procured in both versions woodland and desert beginning around 2021.(Not my photo)

KAZ 03 trials backpack, only few of them survived in such mint condition, the color of the later
issued backpacks was and is much more grey and not as green as the trial ones:

Say, you stated "KAZ03 Training Tanker Suit" why "training" is it not used with regular tank troops?

This kind of suit is not flame-resistand, they are more expensive so they issued training suits to avoid destroying the more expensive ones. The flame resistand ones are more green and are like the tanker jacket I posted some pics ago.
