Very nice, and in mint conditions , but not SARP. Made in South Africa for Ciskei.
The SARP trousers have distinctly different side pockets , and SARP jackets are built more like a BDU shirt.
What makes it obvious that it is not SARP is the great conditions of the set, and the labels.
SARP uniforms are found mostly in well used conditions and have smaller mostly washed out tags.
I don't remember the name of manufacturer, but will check labels ASAP.
Great set.....enjoy it.

Thanks for the info. I know Ciskei adopted the pattern after SARP was disbanded.

Yup, unless you know which cut of uniform belongs to SARP and which belongs to Ciskei it is safe to assume Ciskei.

What's your opinion on this brassard? SARP or Ciskei?

By looking at conditions, and probabilities, I would say Ciskei..
Cant really be 100%certain, as there appears to be no marks, or stamps to indicate either way.
The pattern is identical.

Good info, G,
To my untrained eye they looked quite the same. Identical is certainly not the right term, but they are still very similar. Nothing like a side by side comparison .
Thanks for your input..

An ID for this sort of thing is generally dependent upon the quality of the pictures. But knowing what items were made in which patterns is more likely to produce an accurate ID. I only know the basics

The open buttons on this jacket is a dead giveaway to SARp. The Ciskei uniforms have the buttons covered.
