Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
Well, I think I got a fake Special Forces Digital DPM set. I don't see any markings inside and it looks 100% identical to the one on the previous page. Is the cut of the uniform even correct?

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
This is simple and direct way to check the PLA BDUS true or fake not by the serial no. The fake copy ones they don't need to calculate the stock of BDD. The fake bdus factories can manufacture as many as they wish. Not like PLA they have quality and quantity control. Please see the below pics serial no. is stamped on BDU sleeve mouth or pocket mouth and other hidden place.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
OK, but what about the style of the Digital DPM uniform? The genuine uniform is not the same as Type 07, correct? Gilles and I are wondering if the design of the uniforms we have is wrong, which is an even easier way to tell real from fake.

Hi, Steve you means that one
Yes, the Digital DPM uniforms have been widely spread out to PLA all special forces. These camoflage uniforms were 100% manufactured by regular PLA Factories not the private factories. The practice of stamping white color print serial nos have been seen since the beginning production of Chinese PLA camoflage uniforms. You can see pics (camos bdus stamped with white print serial nos.) i extracted from http://camowhore.blogspot.com/

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
The URL doesn't work. Can you fix it?
The picture shows a jacket with internal padded shoulders and velcro flag on the right arm. It also shows a standard Army shield badge on the left arm. But no other details are visible. These details are consistent with the commercial uniform on the previous page, as well as the uniforms Gilles and I have. What I would like to see are detailed pictures of a known real example. This will allow us to see if the uniforms we have are even the same design! For example, the commercial Type 07 sets sold here in the US do not have the same features as real Type 07 uniforms.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
As growing big market of international market as well as big domestic market also, mostly appeared in market Chinese 07 series camoflage uniforms tend to be fake or copy ones. Because the sellers can put into calculation that the fake or copy ones is more profitable than the geniune ones. The imported retail and wholesale price is more cheaper than the geniune ones. Why they still find the real one, the real BDUS resources is more difficult to obtain with higher price. This is the reality. We are collectors, different looking for geniune ones. It is okay I'd collect the real ones very soon. I would show you later on. And the design and cutting of Chinese Digital DPM uniform is different than ordinary 07 woodland camos.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
I received some more information about the uniforms Gilles and I have. According to someone who works at the factory, they made 3000 uniforms with very badly printed stamps (not bright enough). The PLA rejected these because they were not readable. The factory took the uniforms back and stamped over the original stamps. The PLA accepted this fix. Here is a picture of the stamp on stamp and a picture of mine with only one stamp:
I looked very closely at mine and I do see a stamp! It is very, very hard to see unless you know to look for it. The examples Gilles and I have were returned by the PLA but not stamped again.
This is good information to have

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
You know this is very important that at certain period time every year PLA officers will have inspection about military supplies including BDUs. They will count and check stamps and serial nos. as well. This is standard routine procedure.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
In addition every PLA factory there is PLA military representative stationing in factory to monitor the progress and quality control. So quality it won't go wrong as like repro. factory. I hope you can get the full picture about that.

The description of the problem was very short. I can ask for more details, but I think the information is sufficient. The picture of the double printed label is an important part of the story.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
The collectors from domestic and foreign countries have already lost faith and confidence about Chinese Mainlander stuff. No copyright, unauthorized reproduction, counterfeit all the words can be used to describe the Chinese armystuff in market. The Chinese authority they do not take any strictive step to stop it. The situation will be worsened as disaster in very near future.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
I think some reproduction sellers watch the forum, and they currently take the rapid actions. The 07 Camoflage BDU appeared in market with digital serial nos. But they are not careful enough to stamp nine digitals. Since the beginning of Chinese Camo always six digitals are being stamped.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
I began to doubt the PLA Troop no.76158 stamped BDUs Countrywide,Worldwide circulated and spread . This Troop#76158 just is small size troop indeed locating near the Southern China Guangxi Province Guilin. How come to this troop have supernatural power spreading her stuff around the world corner. Unbellievable. The pic is orginated from China Mainland website. You can see many Mainland websites that they are selling troop unit#76158 BDUs. No other alternative troop units at all. One reason can be explanined why this situation they are in counterfeit reproduction in scale.

Currently I have just got the other digital pattern bdus for Sniper team . The size is 170/96 very small. yes you're right they would send some small quantities of BDUs (for special purposes) outside PLA factories. But the above camo is not in any relation green version OPFOR.

Re: Chinese Digital Uniform
They have normal stamp but without any 4 digitals Factory no. Last time I had a set used by PLA 42 th Army Scout team camoflage the difference really big but still have stamp, TZ words indicated on the cloth TZ Mandarin pronounciation of Special Force. Here is the pic, unfortunately most BDUs tended to be smaller sizes. Please see the below pic. I have the below bdus all belong to not-standardized Army bdus category. Both the two camoflage uniforms I will show my pics very soon.

This is previous post, sniper team camo this camo material also very thin. They have different patterns set. The soldier as indicated in the pic, he took part the Snipers Competition in PLA event.
