    I think the red over blue one is for the ROYAL ARTILLERY and the green red black red green one is for the RIFLES

    Could be a WO2 or as its RA Battery Sergeant Major rank badge.BTW in the British Army they arnt known as Boonies but as either as tropical hats or floppy hats.
