    Hi all,

I now have quite a few Portuguese items that I am unsure of identification or what matches (top and bottom). Here they are in no particular order:

    1. French TAP 47 style para jacket:

    2. Yellowish (badly died cloth??) jacket:

    3. Another jacket:

    4. Bundeswehr Moleskin trousers, but in Portuguese cloth. Only a small size tag inside, nothing else:

    5. French TAP 47/53 style trousers:

    7. Trousers with right leg pocket, left waist pocket:

Awesome stuff here, I'm sure the Lusophiles will be around shortly to elucidate any doubts, but number 1 doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. It doesn't fit into the timeline and design layout of any previous Portuguese uniform. I'm inclined to believe it's a fantasy piece made by someone trying to replicate the expensive French TAP 47/53.

Number 2 is the standard early variant of the Marines uniform, which should be paired with trousers number 5.

Number 3 is a homebrew from a standard M/964 and number 6 trousers belong to the early red-dominant M/961 African uniform.

6 and 7 are trousers that sometimes show up in pictures taken between 1961 and 1964 (may have been used later), these were distributed in some quantity that made it justifiable for the SADF to issue copies to the RECCEs. These trousers appear being used side by side with the regular m/960 and m/961.
