    Hi all
    Picked up these French army trousers in the bargain pile at W&PR look unissued Made by Paul Boye Sete 1991 size 84 L they have just the two leg pockets and are lined/padded, have built in braces, all openings are Velcro fastened as well as snapped/zipped!!! the leg cuff is elasticated, they have "INSTRUCTION" stamped in red ink over the left hand leg pocket!!!..... Ski instructors trousers perhaps or "LEARNER SKIER"!!???

    NBC training trs-there was a seller last year on Ebay selling loads cheap.

    Thanks Richard ... would the liner be some sort of Anti-radiation/bio weapon then???... I imagine it would be toasty hot to wear in the summer!!! Smile i hope no cheaper than the £2 I paid!! there was a pile of them!!! all like this one... unissued!!!! I managed to pick one out in my size too!!!! pirat

    Not 100% sure about the French but sure they would be the same-The British and US NBC suits are Charcoal lined,heavy,horrible,hot things to wear so am guessing these Training trs look the same as regular NBC trs but without the heavy Charcoal lining. Think they were around a fiver when they cropped up on Ebay(may well still be on there),listed from memory as French Breathable Trousers. Pretty sure they were discussed on here somewhere by another member who had bought a pair.

    Thanks again Richard!!! I'll look for the other thread!!! these ones are lined in a rough heavy grey materiel.... probably be ok to wear in the winter as over trousers eh!!

    Sure they will make excellent over trs and as they were dirt cheap,no worries about getting them dirty or damaging them Wink
