2006 Desert Shirt with UN Patch+Breast Rank Patch+Embroidered Pocket Insignia.

Any ideas please what the pocket insignia is and also the rank?

Rank is Master Sergeant. Insignia is the National Coat of Arms.

The rank is Rotmajster or NATO OR-7 equivalent. Also the the rank patch is turned upside down. The vertical strip should be on the outside (or the only one top of the stars should be pointing up, not two)

The logo on the sleeve is Slovak coat of arms, the logo on the chest pocket is logo of Slovak Armed forces consisting of national coat of arms, three gladiuses swords and branch of Small-leaved Lime (which in heraldry should be symbol for Central Europe Slavic nations)

Regarding the pocket crest,seen a few of these shirts on Ebay UK but not seen any with the crest?

If you mean something like eBay item number:201279360767, it doesn´t have the chest logo because it is different piece of clothing.

Your shirt is kind of "dress" shirt cut and fabric. These all have OS SR (Armed forces) logo, even if they are in new digi camo. I don´t know what they are used for. But probably are not a very favoured by soldiers as they are sold a lot and quite cheaply.

The eBay listed shirt is combat shirt. Note the difference in collar and buttons.

Ahh,ok,that would make sense,know nothing at all about Slovak stuff and only bought it as like desert patterns and the fact it was nicely badged.
