Help identifying a beret

I don't know what the badge is (not German), but I suspect the beret is Bundeswehr (commonly for Jäger and Panzergrenadier). See the four small holes in a diamond configuration? That's what German berets have because their badges are 4 prong, though for all I know others have that configuration as well.

Yup I know, but it's sometimes useful to know the badge is on the wrong thing, or at least possibly on the wrong thing.

The sword was the tip off for me. Yugo/Serb and Lithuania are two countries that I know that use swords like that. Turns out it's Lithuanian:

Hey Steve, you right beret is German BW , but badge( type 1) is Lithuanian Yeager( LRRP) battalion. Right now, those guys part of SOP's, and they wearing maroon berets( like National guard). Best regards,Vitalis

Yes, they did. I just change few years ago from green to maroon. I will add pix, so you can take a look to the new type of beret. In the beginning lithuanians wear not just Lithuanian made berets, but danish, germans, austrians and also US "green berets". Vitalis

Great info! I figured the German beret might be "correct". The early days of Lithuania's independence were a time of change. I know Estonia used a lot of stuff from other countries.
