    i found this tropical combat man's coat with ranger and medical patch,the name tape is removed and the collar insignia.
    its the first time i found this kinda jacket and this is not my area of collecting so if anybody can tell me more about it ,that would be very helpfull. is it 70ies or 80ies?

    Although the coat was likely made in 1969 or 1970, it would have been worn with these patches in the late 1970s or early 1980s, during the RDF period. It is not common to find ERDL jackets with patches on them, especially this medical patch. The patched examples I have from the RDF timeframe are either SF or 82nd Abn.
