Hello, I joined the forum awhile ago and asked about a Belgian field jacket that I found at a thrift store. Not long after that my PC went up and once I got back online I could not remember the name of the forum. Well, I found you again when I was looking for info on this Mexican Commando Marine top that I recently found at the flea market. The dealer had new USMC pants piled on his table and I bought them up at a great price and this was hanging with some USMC tops at the end of the table. When I first saw the sleeve I got excited because I mistakenly thought that it was some type of USMC experimental camouflage. With that said I love camouflage so I paid the dealer the $4.00 he wanted for the top and was happy to add it to the collection. When I got home and starting doing some research I couldn't find much information on the top, that is until I found this forum once again. I then realized that I may actually have something special and I just would like to know just how rare this may be and also your opinions on how legit it is. There are no tags on the top but its obvious one was removed from it. Thanks!!

Wow.
What a story.. $4.00 And fully patched.
What you have is a legit and scarce Mexican Marines desert smock with all the trimmings.
Mexican camo uniforms are not super difficult to source, but they tend to be pricey due to scarceness and because they are supposed to be controlled uniforms.
There are a couple of sellers on eBay who have some decent Mexican pieces but their prices are unreasonably high.
Good score !! Even without label.

I usually don't ask this but curiosity is getting the best of me. What kind of money do they bring? I also appreciate the information. Thanks!

Check mexican camouflage uniform eBay..
There usually are 2 sellers with some decent items.
At this time, only one of them seems to have anything; his prices are mostly as outrageous as his comments.
