Re: Indonesian "vine leaf" camo
I don't know anything about this coat but this camo pattern looks like US's Mitchell pattern from Vietnam with new colour. It's neat.

Re: Indonesian "vine leaf" camo
Yes, It's highly influenced by the Mitchell camo. Some countries used to use (or still use?) copies of it...

Re: Indonesian "vine leaf" camo
well... looks like you have a commercial one philip, I never see this jacket ever worn by our army. BUT it sell on militaria store in Indonesia. just as military-fashion looks. even you could find commercial copy of Afghanistan, US marpat, and others pattern in Indonesian militaria store.
However, Flecktarn Field Jacket like this one :
is the only original items that found in Indonesian military store. I don't know why Indonesian have many Bundeswehr military surplus. As I know, Indonesian manufacturer ever accept order from Bundeswehr for creating Flecktarn field jacket, and I think, jacket that sell all over Indonesia is export residue.

Dan,
You do see these vine-leaf jackets worn around the place by military personnel. Most of these are the easily sourced commercial copies but are generally unbadged.
I'd be interested in seeing a photo of the jacket and/or label if you could get one.
Cheers,
Ben.

Re: Indonesian "vine leaf" camo
Not possible sorry i sold it to a Mil Surplus store in Christchurch NZ about 8 years ago, the insignia was gold on a Od background, if i remember i think it had a Yonif 744 patch and Wirubunya(spelling?) with crossed Kris(swords) behind a shield on it.
I may have some more of these patches will dig around for a look.

Re: Indonesian "vine leaf" camo
The crests on the left and right were on the sleeves plus numerous qualification patches on the chest and the TNI AD on the chest as well, and was YONIF 726 not 744.
This was during 2001-2002 UNTAET NZBATT 5
