weird Poncho liner Empty weird Poncho liner

    Post by misanthropic_gods Fri Dec 18, 2009 7:40 am

I found this weird poncho liner at a local surplus store, it has diamond stitching rather than the barbell kind normally seen in liners, it has an odd color to it, it is very pale, it has been repaired many times over using a patch kit, there is NO tag or label on it whatsoever. It doesnt look like any US liner I have ever seen, maybe foreign?

    Anybody recognize it?

    Looks correct.
I have 2 types 1 that is like a normal woodland pattern and a couple that are older that are a pale faded green.
You take a older one and put it thru the wash a few times and it gets that colour.
Also I have been getting these from the Canadian DND auctions that are US made but the patterns look s alittle bit off.
That and the repair looks typical Base sewing shop repair.
    Hope this helps.

Do the older ones have the diamond sewing pattern as well?
