Seems a bit too much brown to be an effective Irish pattern.

Hm, did I see these pics somewhere before? ICUS? Reminds me a little of the Dutch jungle pattern. I don't know what I should think about it but I guess it's civilian. Normally (exceptions prove the rule) military uniform labels don't say "MADE IN ...."

Ah... so that's what it is! Yes, it is a very rare experimental Irish Defense Forces uniform. I've got pics of another set which was on eBay a while ago. It went for far less than it should have.

Sorry to rain on your parade guys but that suit was made by a company called Historical Uniforms Research (HUR) as a paintball suit.HUR was a one man company based in the west of Ireland. The good news is that it was made from genuine Botswana cammo cloth bought from a mill in the UK. They also made similar suits in other genuine cammo cloths such as Danish and UAE patterns. Photos of a similar suit in Danish cammo follow.

You take it quite easy! Smile I'm always a little upset/disappointed when I realize that I had paid big $$$ for fakes.

It is not really a fake more like a rarity. Such items from short lived companies often turn out to be more valuable than most genuine issue items.

Ok, "fake" may be the wrong term.

I am not bothered in the least , it is a unique piece , and although I paid a bit for it , there are plenty of other rare things that I paid very little for , it balances out in the end , and as said its still a rare item !!
    Just commercial item !!!

Great info! There's so much stuff floating around out there that has commercial roots, but yet isn't made in great numbers. The problem is documentation of this stuff is just about nil. The common stuff, like STURM makes, yeah... we all know what that stuff is because it's everywhere. But small runs made by small shops 10-20 years ago is definitely harder to know what's what.
