Some sources will tell you that this set was only used by troops heading to Somalia in the 1990's, however this particular pattern WAS used in both Iraq & Afghanistan in the beginnings before vegetato was widely used...

    Here is set #1...

There are two versions of this uniform, but I can never remember what they are. One is M90 and the other is M92.

I think that airborne badge is bunk. That's where the rank velcro is supposed to be and would be a very strange place to have jump wings displayed.

Coincidentally, I have a rank badge for this uniform (same as for the temperate uniform) up on eBay right now Wink

Strangely enough I have actually seen more photos of Italian troops wearing these more than I've seen photos of them wearing Vegetato. :Lol!:

Ah... it came from Repairman jack. Interesting. Well... the badge itself might be legit, but I still doubt that it was worn instead of rank. But that is just a gut feeling.

Thanks for the pics Steve H! First one is M90, second one is M92. I have Woodland in both but for some reason decided to part with my desert M90 and kept my M92. The latter came with and without velcro already attached.

It is probably one of the best patterns we had. Very effective too.
The parawings are legit, some soldiers preferred that type of patch. This uniform was not only used in combat zones. I have one stitched on my jacket as well, same type. If you need to wear it in combat, some covered it with brown duct tape Smile
