It is a yugo STMM-1. It's an exercise AT mine copied on the german TM 43.

very nice gary i take it this fits the composite m89 lid im fond of this cammo it reminds me of the paddyflange thanks for sharing mate

Your right it does look like paddy - flage, and a bit like CCE too.

Just need the M89 to fit it onto, I got this one off ebay,dead cheap..check it out, they are on a buy it now deal

hi gary ive got a serb cover like yours but without the label i just need the m89 lid myself also im going to display it with my us m9 gasmask that on my nam lid i think this mask was made under licence for yugoslavia and designated the m1 thanks for the heads up though matey ill post pics when i complete the look

gary ive done a few pics of how it looks fitted on a modello z lid for now untill i can complete the look

Here another Yugoslavian cover helmet. This one was made in M-68 camouflage, it's not a cover helmet from the MOL paratrooper uniform which cover all the head :

i think elsasser this cover is designated M68 "Branch" pattern made from 1968 onwards

it is indeed sir you are correct it tucks up into the helmet quite well

I have matched a lid to go with this cover, sadly not an M-89, but this M59/85 will do the trick, until I can source an M-89, this one still has the remnants of the communist star on the front of the shell, and possibly a name "Goran" and what looks like "king" written on the sweatband..whatcha reckon fella's

very nice gary it complements the lid well i like the condition of the yugo lid also its been well looked after and the remenants of the star looks great ,well done mate

Goran is Serbian name

other word looks like Kinez (Chinaman), probably nickname of the soldier who wore that helmet
