I bought this on eBay a few years back for about $20, its in pretty good condition but really can't tell if is official no tags or stamps, but none the less a really cool coat.

Ahhh ... the memories ...
I have one as well, bought in Xian, China in 1986. All in a vain effort to blend in with the locals, unfortunately, the gucci shoes and Raybans somewhat gave it away back when everything was communist drab.
I believe your example would be (like mine) commercial, issue stuff would be stamped and I'm pretty sure the red tabs wouldn't go on the fur collar. To have them on the uniform shirt underneath would have been sufficient.
