Load Carrying vest ID info

I have one of these vests. Grim Reaper described in a post what this example vest I.D. info meant.

My vests tag says the soldiers name and HQ IWFR

Anyone know what HQ IWFR stands for?

The vest is like new with no wear. I would guess HQ means Head Quarters so maybe it belonged to a desk jockey?

Hi there yeah HQ would def mean head quarters but as for the IWFR I have no idea whatsoever!! It's stumped me, could we have a photo please of the actual label/writing etc

HQ is definately Headquaters.
Are you sure it is IWFR and not 1WFR which would be 1st Battalion, Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment -now known as 2 Mercian Regiment....they changed name in 2007 so it is likely this vest is from before then.
