Post by Gulf91 on Sat May 14, 2011 3:20 pm

Genuine WW2 Windproof smock used Gulf91 by an SAS trooper.

Has had woollen cuffs added by the previous owner.

    Cheers Owen.

It was definitely used during OP Granby and while i have no proof it was an SAS trooper i dont know of any regular Soldiers wearing these during the conflict but plenty of pics of SAS troopers wearing them.

Agreed , there is plenty of pictures to back up your thoughts , when the cuffs were added its a good sign someone was a old school show off to the lads !!!

when I first looked at it I thought it was white also !!!!
But white in the desert would work also , but then I seen the tan , is there sun marks where the webbing was worn ?
