hi mate, i assume youre new? You should introduce yourself in the introduction thered..

if youre looking for a 'standard marine setup, you should get an interceptor body armour in woodland, and some DCU/MARPAT camouflages, or some MOPP NBC suits.

Its rather rare that Marines/soldiers would be weaing a PASGT vest in Iraq in 2003, nevertheless there some photos of Marines/soldiers wearing them, if im not mistaken most tank crewmen were issued them.

Ammo pouches im afraid are WAY out of date for that period as they are Vietnam era M56 and also the smoke grenade is British and not US.

    Sorry for the negative waves!!

gulf91 is right, probably some ALICE 5.56 would be authentic
the kpot would probably need marpat/dcu helmet cover with pasgt NVG mount, depending on what youre afta (infntry, recon marine, tanker, etc)

    James,
If it were me, I'd go with a Woodland LBV. The PASGT vest WAS used by a few of the Marines during the early stages of OIF.

It all depends on what you want to represent. If you want USMC, then go for three color flak vest cover. It would make a nice early OEF as some reserve units worn flak vests.

Get LC-2 stuff. Put the 1st aid pouch on the belt instead of on vest.

Both Active duty and reserve wore PASGT vests in 2003, there isnt a question about that. The biggest issue here is the load bearing setup.
