Picked this baby up from a Marine that was in a FAST team. I dont know the exact history of the suit but i believe he did went though Scout Sniper school.

The suit is basic Woodland BDUs with the camo and the boonie is a Propper Multicam one. I dont know much aboue Ghillie Suits but i think this thing is awesome! I love how he took Seabags and used them for the fronts of the shirt/pants due to all the crawling they do...

Also has the pockets on the forearm and the thumb loops at end of sleeves.

Im going to text him back later and see if i can get the background history on it. I bought it with a bunch of gear is was getting rid of.

Thanks! I was actually wrong. The guy was an instructor at the Designated Marksman School at Dam Neck, VA. Guess its for snipers and marksmen for protecting things such as embassy's. Either way, really cool suit! He told me it took roughly a full 24 work hours to make this set! Kindof surprised he got rid of it, unless he has a newer one. He said he might think about making some for people if they wanted a set (i was thinking for playing airsoft Smile )

I've always loved ghillie suits. I have one of the current issue multicam sets that has never been built. Expensive kit.

As far as building them for others, there is a market for it, just not huge. Aside from collectors others that want it are military members that don't have the time, patience, knowledge to build; airsofters; and hunters. That was why I built my first one out of 6 color deserts years ago.
