MTP PCS Smock Empty MTP PCS Smock

Post by sobota Wed Dec 21, 2011 12:32 pm

VERY happy with this little beauty:

    in the bag
    MTP PCS Smock 010

close-up of label, nice familiar name of Cooneen Watts and Stone
    MTP PCS Smock 0a10

    MTP PCS Smock 111

close-up of the new style of pockets
    MTP PCS Smock 213

behind the two lower map pockets there are fleeced compartments for the hands
    MTP PCS Smock 2a10

close-up detail of the pocket lids
    MTP PCS Smock 312

interior of pocket lids, only the top two have the little pen pockety tag things (very technical name i know)
    MTP PCS Smock 411

Compass pocket on upper left map pocket
    MTP PCS Smock 512

two small document pockets adorn each arm, just from looking at them briefly they appear to be the same as the pockets on the UBACS
    MTP PCS Smock 611

the panels can be removed to reveal a nice large patch of velcro
    MTP PCS Smock 712

with the arm pocket open it reveals more of the pen pockety tag things and also the lower edge of the pocket is sewn flat to the arm, whereas the upper edge has the ability to expand
    MTP PCS Smock 812

inside the concealed chest pockets you get yet more pen pockets! and also the breathable mesh interior is visable
    MTP PCS Smock 1012

smock opened up, here you can see the lower fleece pockets and upper mesh body
    MTP PCS Smock 1111

and finally the under arm ventilation zippers
    MTP PCS Smock 1211

if anyone wants to see other close ups or other details ive missed just ask, i'll be more than happy!

Very Nice, good to see our equipment quality has gone up a level, that smock looks better than a Helikon/Tantalus one.

When in work yesterday I checked the shelf with the MTP Smocks on, sorry they are the earlier S95 Style Smock not the PCS one...however we do stock the underarmour and PCS Shirts.

How much are the 95-style MTP smocks going for now, with the PCS types becoming more common?

Those "pen pockety" loops in the sleeve pockets and in the chest pockets are called "Beckets".They are not meant to hold pens but for "idiot cords" IE Tie downs of paracord/string attached to the likes of pocket knifes, compasses, torches etc.Bascically anything you dont want to loose if the pocket was to come open accidentally.
