    Ripstop Gaiters.

A bit of confusion to start with on these as they(4 pairs) came with a stash of unissued German BW bits so at first thought they were indeed German but now believe them to be Spanish?

My cousin has a set in Spain he showed them to me and they look like them from the late 90s. I never understood why Gaiters are that colour or other colours? If Military issue they should be in "White" as far as i'm concern.

Why just white as they are used not only in snow but very handy in long wet grass, mud etc.
