Early '90s DDPM trousers

A piece of my little collection, a pair of early Desert DPM trousers.
They have the same cut of OG lightweight trousers used by British Forces in the '70s/'80s, with a single pocket on the left leg.

These desert lightweights were probably made about 1988-1990. I've pictured a pair with the same label in my Gulf War kit ID thread.

Any period pics of them being worn during OP Granby?

I've never seen any, but then it would be difficult to tell from a photo. Making ddpm lightweights without a matching shirt or jacket of some sort seems a strangely pointless exercise. I suspect they are pre Gulf War One, for "smart" wear with the khaki shirt, and I really only included them in that thread on a "just possibly" basis and as the earliest known (to me) example of ddpm.
