Mitchell M-65? That's pretty fabulous. Actually, they're all really cool. =]

Yes, also my favorite. There are currently some on ebay. But from modern manufacture with genuine (?) fabric.

The repro's aren't terrible. I picked up a Chinese knockoff of the USMC cover, and it is actually quite good: the photos are oversaturated at ebay, which makes the pattern look freakishly pea-soup colored, but the actual material stands up next to my vintage helmet-cover very well. The fellow down in GA alleges that his stuff is made of old ponchos, and it certainly looks better in the pix... but if there's really convincing material to be had, it wouldn't be difficult to weather it and make it look old.

I guess, as long as they're honest about the sourcing, I don't mind. =] Besides... the items that don't claim vintage sourcing are cheaper.
