Damn !! French, eh ? I thoight there was a close similarity in them but assumed two great nations came up with the same solution. The velcro should have given it away though

But that news is tempered by the 'experimental' goretex. Shame it is too small for me to use. Luckily the French piece only cost me a couple of quid. The hat only pennies.

I think the brown fleece is nearly the same as very rare Hungarian desert issue. Not identical, but possibly from the same contractor.
