    Ukrainian Jacket Empty Ukrainian Jacket

    Post by sh4pak Mon Apr 23, 2012 5:07 pm

I recently acquired a ripstop, camouflage jacket from the 5th Mechanized Bn., Armed Forces of Ukraine. I know that the 5th became the 6th, after a restructuring of forces-- but my question is this; the regimental patch has a typo. It reads "Meghanized," rather than "Mechanized." This leads me to question the authenticity of the garment, but really... is the market for such things so profittable that someone would actually bootleg it, or is this a "known bug?"

    Just curious if anyone knows.

Could be "in Country" made patch , they were not very good at English, or many other countries languages , a picture would be cool !

I agree. If it looks like it belongs on the uniform (everything is used, correct?) it is probably in "in country" badge. Spelling mistakes are not uncommon on these things.

And... I notice that these images are rather huge. What's the common practice here?
