    Just some random pictures of the museum and monuments of Ft. Stotensburg, which eventually became Clark Air Force Base, and is now Clark Field Special Economic Zone.

    This is one of the original gate markers to the fort sitting on the grounds of the old parade field.

    This monument is dedicated to the Filipino soldiers and sits just opposite of the Cavalry monument.

    This cannon dates from the Spanish occupation and sits in front of the museum, aimed across the road targeting the parade ground.

    Good question, one which I don't have a definitive answer too. I would speculate that they may have done some modification/construction (they probably would have had to rebuild all that they destroyed at the very least) but that base was rebuilt so heavily by the US Air Force that I don't there are any WW2 vintage structures still standing.
    I spent two days of my vacation there riding around the base seeing what I could see. There was still a large portion of the old base housing that was never rebuilt after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo back in 1991, so I doubt any structure dating from WW2 survived the eruption. The whole area was pretty much destroyed. That's another story all together, interesting, but quite off topic.

    Been living here ever since but I never knew such a museum existed inside the base.

    As a kid, I used to watch F-4 Phantoms fly over the highway and Angeles City when we do our grocery near Clark Air Base.
