The 1st thing i noticed about the suit is the weight, it's incredibly light. In fact it seems too light to be a battle worthy item. The pants are also same material weight as the jacket.
Anyways here are the pictures
jacket, this is MARPAT cut with tiny differences.
The arm pockets have the ACU style IFF patch that can be turned on or off with the use of Velcro.
The jacket forearm and elbows are made from highly stretchy Lycra. They are not reinforced in any way by extra material.
The jacket has gone back to the old BDU style pockets with micro Velcro closings.
The jacket is now zipper fastened with metal snap fasteners too
The tag, made by American Power Source INC which did all the ACU testing.
pants these have changed radically and are no way the same item as on issue now.
there is no reinforced seams on the pants, the pants also have zipper fly and full rear ( the the cargo pockets) reinforced seat area. Pants are also lined with Lycra in the waistband at the rear.
just on 1st glance they look ACU.
ACU vs MARPAT pocket, basically it's the MARPAT pants cargo pocket with the ACU top flap. Again they used Velcro to close but have not used the pull cord system on the ACU.
Lycra crotch area, again very very stretchy.
Knees made from Lycra, single ply not reinforced.
sweat suit style pants with zipper bottoms that are rubber lined elasticated and metal snapper fixed.
The pocket in the rear sewn onto NFL style jersey material pockets. All the pockets are lined this way.
