    Had a dig through the attic this morning and found this lot which hasn't been out for a while.  Mainly issued in the 80's but there's some 90's stuff in there too.  Arctic Bergen with it's white cover, Mk2 arctic sleeping bag (with it's woolly liner & snow cover) and a pair of snow shoes with Alico ski boots still in them!

    I still rate these doss bags as the best, bulky but an excellent bit of kit, I've still got my 58 maggot too and would rather use it instead of the modern day equivalent.

    I echo the above sentiments, some smashing stuff there. What was the scale of issue for the vests -not just SF issue? There was a few of them up for grabs a few years ago but they dried up pretty quickly. Thanks again for sharing.

    Cheers lads, as far as i'm aware the vests were only SF issue, never seen anyone else wearing them...and they were made to a relatively small order.

    I'm off to have another rummage.

    Found my old Arktis chest rig last week, still covered with 'white nasty' from the last time it was used in the snow, thought I'd stick it on here with the rest of the Arctic kit.
