Just picked this up recently. It looks awesome and the pattern appears to be correct for the Vietnam war era, but I am not sure about the rest of it. Snaps have no markings and all zippers a smallish and marked "Venus", which I know was used in Vietnam. I am thinking it is probably post war, but that is ok with me, I didn't pay too much and it fits me which is the main reason I bought it in the first place!
