NZ kit for sale on Poole High Street UK

I was in Poole earlier, home of the SBS, where there is just one surplus shop. It sells the normal stuff found in any similar shop on a hundred different high streets.

Sometimes however it has what I'd call "local produce" the odd bit of Royal Marines or SBS kit, something from the RAC in Bovington or the Royal Signals in Blandford.

At the moment they also have an NZ ALICE Large pack in pretty good condition. I was surprised that the material is much thicker than on US packs.

They also have an NZ DPM windproof smock. I don't know what the cloth is, it felt like ventile, the buttons are covered and the zip fastener flap also has poppers. It was the same but different to the UK smocks but felt much better quality.

Must be a broke Kiwi chasing the world cup!! By the way we put SA to the sword but only just. Go the Pumas!!

If the price is reasonable, you should buy the NZ smock. The quality is very high. I will be in Christchurch next month so I will visit the shop on your recommendation!(Christchurch UK that is and not the NZ version)

It is Christchurch Dorset. if you head down the high street from the Dolphin centre the shop is on the left just before the traffic lights (its pedestrian to there)

The shop has a lot of stuff, mostly fairly ordinary but the Kiwi SAS smock was hanging on the left and on the opposite wall the Kiwi Bergen. The smock was great but not for me as I will not use it and nor will my son.
