Nice one! This is the second Army issue desert uniform, the first was in a lighter tan coloured camo and in a wz124 "Airborne" construction, then this one in a darker yellow camo (wz124PI and wz124P constructions) and then the current issue style in the darker yellow camo in wz123UT construction. Also there were police versions in different construction for the Police deployments to Afghanistan.

There's a police one as well? Crap, now I have to find one. I'm guessing that won't be easy
I wasn't aware that they changed the color AGAIN. Do you have a comparison picture of the three colorations? I checked your website and didn't see the third type at all.

Hi Steve,
No only two colour versions, sorry I probably made it sound confusing... - the early light tan one and the later darker yellow. The wz123UT is just a different construction but same camo pattern (later dark yellow version).
Here are the Police deployment versions (all are in the later darker yellow pattern) and there are some in use pics in there too: http://camouniforms.net/index.php/eastern-europe/poland/wz2000-snajper/yellow-variation/police
Regards,
Martin.

OK, all is clear now! So what I need to get is a Police (Yellow) and 3rd Model (wz123UT) uniform. And the easy way to tell if it is wz123UT is there are no pleats on the pockets?

Hi Steve, the wz123UT (in wz2000 Desert Pantera) is the same construction as the current issue lightweight uniform wz123UL (in wz93 Pantera).

Very easy to tell apart wz123UT from wz124PI or P - only two chest pockets, no pleats, new collar lots of velcro everywhere etc...

Does anyone know anything about the below pattern - commercial maybe? It is clearly Polish desert, but the colors are reversed from the typical pattern (you can see this most clearly on the back). This just sold on Ebay pretty cheaply.

Yeah it looks commercial - any tags or stamps? Is it ripstop?

Not only have you made things clearer for me, but I also know I don't need the UT or UL as I have both already

There is also the wz123UP but that should be discussed in a wz93 thread...

I don't know - I did not win it. Just curious, since the colors were different than usual.

Andreas let me know if you want some desert ranks to put the correct ones on that uniform instead of the green ones, I have some spare desert ranks.

Sorry for jumping in on this thread, but would anyone be able to tell me anything about this rucksack please?
