Nice display! I was told that at the time badging was not supposed to be worn on the camouflage smocks, but it was more of a suggestion than a rule Smile

My guess is this is 1970s production. There's a bunch of variations so I could be wrong.

For sure production started in the 1970s. There were small differences in over the 70s and into the 80s, but I am guessing this is one of the 70s production.

That's a very interesting smock! I thought the full zipper type was from the 1990s. The two examples I have are both from then and I also have a 1987 type with traditional Dennison half zipper. It would be great to see the label. I'm curious to see the company name at the very least, but the label style might also be interesting.

1985 or 1984, it is still a surprise to me Wink This means the full zip smock was in production and use at the same time as 1/2 zip smocks. I have an experimental full zip smock from 1995 (I think that's right, I'm not at home at the moment) with red thread and control tags. I thought this was the year the design was introduced, but now I know it was not. Just a variation of a design from at least the mid 1980s. I like learning new things about Belgian camouflage Smile

When I get home I'll check my two 1990s examples, but I think neither have a beaver tail.

Very nice. I guess they didn't really carry rifle magazines.
