What's up with all that velcro?

Nice bunch of stuff! The black velcro over everything looks wrong, though. Is this stuff added for Airsoft or paintball?

Hello ... Your ideas are all correct.

I do play paintball and airsoft. When I started I only had one set of camo and in 2011 I suffered a dislocated shoulder wherein the first responders have to cut the upper garment of my BDA (I was wearing a NAVSOG Tigerstripe given by a friend).

The reason for the many Velcro is connected to my other hobby of collecting AFP Patches. Basically I tried to emulate what I see in the internet.

My goal is not to impersonate but to display my collectibles as customize as I see it.

The NAVSOG Tigerstripe I have before but was cut in half by the 1st responders in my paintball accident.

I bought this camo back in 2006. Some stated this was worn by NAVSOG but I cannot confirm as most often the Tigerstripe NAVSOG is wearing is horizontal not vertical. According to camopedia this was worn by the PN Seabees again can't confirm. I still have this camo you can see it on my 1st picture at the beginning of the post. When I got this I found it very ugly but as I research camoflauge uniforms of the AFP I found this BDA now as worth it collection. This is me playing paintball.

CollectinSteve Admin al the jackets u can buy in the Philipines at militairy stores in Manila, tailor made with any kind of patches u like.The original used ones a lot harder to find.

Appreciate the feedback I got from forum members. I tried to put some of my AFP patches to the BDAs I got and went well. Maybe I should have been conscious on the color of the Velcro I have placed. Here it goes and close to being real thing with the exemption of name cloth and rank:

The digital Tigerstripe is a generic one. The other Tigerstripe is used by various MILF/MNLF fighters..

Hi, are you collecting current Philippine Camoflauge as well? I have 4 new sets coming my way and based on current BDA the AFP is using, am down by another 7 sets.

Finally my order has arrived from my ebay source ... NAVSOG CAMO with assorted patches ...
