Is one pair of trousers (pants) enough

I have a number of camo shirts some times 3or4 of the same pattern if badged for different units but only ever one pair of
trouser per pattern my friend on the other hand must have one pair of trouser for each shirt even if there in the same pattern
so were do you stand on this one or more .

I guess it depends on your budget and availability of space. If I were to own trousers for every shirt or jacket, it would be impossible to store everything.

A very good question! Personally I try to have sets, even for jackets that are identical except for badging. However, I do NOT make it a priority. If trousers come to me with some other trade or I pick them up on eBay cheap, fine, otherwise I let the shirt stay an orphan.

I figure that if I ever sell/trade a duplicate shirt it is likely to sell/trade better if it's a set.

I can understand matching up a shirt or jkt with the correct trs but dont see the need to for example buy every size from the same maker or every size from every different maker of the same item for example.

I am a full set man, saying that I do have single shirt and pants in hope for finding matching parts
