Nice Dutch Multicam Ripstop Parka with Liner and Gore-Tex Laminate. I've read about that these uniforms were deployed to the Korps Commando Troepen in Afghanistan and 11 Luchtmobiele Brigade in Mali.

Its a strange thing with those parkas.
I got one too today and they look like they older DPM ones just with ripstop fabric, they come with the original fur and gore tex liners. But the tiny black size tag and the white STURM tag made me.....
Maybe the Dutch army bought them directly from Sturm? My parka has the typicall surplus smell. The are quite well made, not the typicall Mülltec junk.

Here's what Sturm does... it gets a whole bunch of genuine liners for almost nothing and then makes a run of parkas to fit them, mark them up significantly, and profit! They did this with Bundesgrentzschutz Sumpftarn as well. Original liners, commercially produced Sumpftarn parka. Well made, but 100% commercial.
Again, perhaps some Dutch units bought some as a unit purchase, but these are not made for the Dutch military.

The jackets were made for a short tour in Africa.
A summer tour. The liner and iso liner are in large numbers around these weren,t orderd because of that.
That why the liners are early and the jacket new.
If they were used is NOT sure because of regulations.
I have the jacket but no pictures in use. Other gear is also without original NSN labels so it is possible.
The Dutch SF is using Multicam at the moment .

So the Dutch army maybe simply ordered the stuff directly from STURM because they had an urgent need?

Yeah, that is what I suspected if there is evidence of Dutch Special Forces using it. "unit purchase". Special Forces present all kinds of problems because they are generally allowed to buy outside of the normal procurement system AND are given the funds to do it with. German Special Forces wore Crye stuff made in Flecktarn, but there is no official procurement of these uniforms (i.e. they don't have NSN, contract numbers, etc.).

HA! I saw that just two days ago by complete and random coincidence! We do live in a small world, don't we
Yes, the description is pretty much what we've theorized here. I'd still like to see some evidence of this (one picture from a mission to Africa would do the trick!). Sadly, my connections to the Dutch Military usually don't turn up anything interesting regarding uniforms. Usually I provide them with questions they didn't even know to ask! Soldiers are busy being soldiers.
