Is there still a market for these? I've been out of the British collecting loop for too long.

Re: Sparse Ghost CBA
Very nice.
I have one complete with ballistic inner which Ive been trying to shift,at what I think is a fair price for a while now with no luck.
Think of the sparse stuff the CBA covers are the most common so guess not as desireable as the shirts and trs?

Re: Sparse Ghost CBA
Nice example, but the supply still far exceeds the demand as very few people collect Gulf War One kit. But I have noticed there's not nearly as much around as there was a year or two ago.

Re: Sparse Ghost CBA
Apart from sparse stuff, tons of ddpm Granby era clothing on EBay. Not that I need anymore but just bought 3 sets of which one pair of trs turned out to be sparse, dirt cheap.

Re: Sparse Ghost CBA
Large quantities yes, massive quantities no. It's still a long way from being scarce and still cheap, but I'm seeing at most half as many listings for ddpm, GW1 boots, S10s, early PLCE etc. as I did in say 2014. It sticks around - someone has listed a GW1 NBC suit, a fairly scarce item but it's on about its fourth listing now and no bites. I've seen about three GW1 hats in the past six months whereas before that there'd be at least one a week. Still loads of ddpm shirts around but the great majority of listings now are for the S95 stuff. The only things I'm seeing in anything like the same numbers are CBAs. Sparse kit other than CBAs was always scarce, no change there.

Re: Sparse Ghost CBA
Ive stopped buying stuff merely because its cheap as I used to do as my house resembles a very unorganized Surplus Shop.
You are right about the hats and to some extent boots but as for the DDPM shirts and trs,if I felt inclined to do so,could buy enough to equip a small army as there is so much of it about and all Granby era as well.

Re: Sparse Ghost CBA
It'd be a very small army, more like a platoon. Out of curiosity I did an ebay search in Militaria within the UK for desert, ddpm, gulf and granby, going back ten days. I found eleven GW1 shirts and two pairs of trousers, plus one listing for 8 shirts, another for "we have shirts" in two sizes and another for more than ten trousers. And the sizes were mostly small. I found one NBC suit, no boots, no hats and no CBAs. The same search for PLCE and webbing turned up three sets of the right pattern, two ammo pouches, one undateable belt, five utility pouches and one e-tool pouch. I searched for shemagh going back months and did not find an issue example.
Obviously there will be older BINs and items I've missed, but the point is that a year or two back that search would have turned up far more GW1 kit. I was certainly seeing much more then on ebay; that's my opinion based on my own observations.

Re: Sparse Ghost CBA
I have been offered from a seller at least 100 sets, maybe more of DDPM shirts and trs,of which I declined as unless I kept them(and live) for another 10 years or so would be stuck with them.
