I am unsure of this item. My other two gas mask bags close with a canvas ongue passing through a brass staple.
Not familiar with press stud type like this. Is this ABL? and if so, what Era?

Yes, it is Belgian, and probably more or less from the same period as the other style. I have someplace one with the tab closure that has been repaired with an LTD snap like this one. Notice on the bottom of the bag that it is marked for a size 2 mask. Most of my bags have some type of marking like this.
