It is what the Germans call a Kradkombi and Motorradkombi (motorcycle combination) and it was made in the mid 1990s for motorcycle use. A sizeable batch hit surplus outlets a number of years ago when they were discontinued from BW use (c.2009) and they've been hard to find since. Even harder to find is the two piece quilted liner, which is similar to the ones used in Panzerkombi (armored combination). Panzerkombi has always been a one piece affair since its introduction in late 1950s. I have trials trousers from 1991/1992, so production probably was between 1992 and 1997/1998. I'll probably never find the matching jacket
Here's a seller that still has some 5FTD Kradkombination:

And an eBay seller with a few left:

I am also surprised the uniform wasn't waterproofed in some way. Prior to this the Feldjäger wore a leather Kradkombi. Maybe that's why they killed off the uniform?

Prior to Flecktarn, motorcyclists wore standard field uniforms (Moleskin) with the addition of knee high waterproof gaiters and kidney belt. So back then water proofing was only marginal. Back in the 1950s they used the same rubberized special greatcoat used during wartime.
And that, gentlemen, is probably more than you wanted to know
