Help with French chest rank

What do I have here?

What you have there are some French rank tabs. May I suggest that you browse the net as plenty of info is available on line, The best source for insignia is here:

My impression is that you ask your questions on here before doing the searches yourself and that you might invest a little time in learning a bit before asking us to do your research for you?

I have done tons of research trying to identify the colors and what branch they are. Can't find a good site for this information. Like your response it was really inviting. Don't bother helping I dont need that kind of help.

ranks from "Armée de l'Air" are on blue velcro for blue jacket or on green velcro for green jacket

on your photo , the Nr8 & 9 seems to be dark blue . If they are black , there is a difference . There are ranks from the "Gendarmerie Mobile"

French colour scheme and ranks are really complicated for those who have no experience with their peculiarities.

I was trying to find something about the following two ranks, on dark blue and black base.



I think the left one belongs to sergent (your Post n°6, 3 - Armée de l'Air - Sergent),
and the right one - to Sergent-chef (Post n°11, La Legion - but mine tab looks similar).

But I did not manage to fing such silver colour (and rosy-red stripes too) on the available pics...


Could you please comment or give any piece of advice, what that could be?
