I can't really tell what the differences are. I'm aware that there's one with hidden buttons and one with exposed buttons. All four of yours have hidden buttons, so what's the difference between them? I'm just wondering if I have to find more of these beauties or if I can be content with what I have Wink

The Smocks have all been modified with velcro in different ways and color.
The Shirt has had the arm pockets removed and velcro added. Also velcro added for the nametape

When issued the smocks had no velcro patches on them.

The shirts with the rankslides on the shoulders also had no velcro on them. Patches were supposed to worn on a brassard but alot of guys had them sewn directly to the shirt.

I agree that the badging makes these uniforms fun to look at. Without 'em, gah... just boring desert DPM!

Dan, thanks for the follow up info. So from a factory standpoint they're the same, but soldiers modified them post factory. Got it.
