Very nice, is the Velcro in camouflage? That is quite unusual

Seems a new trend for newer Italian vegetata type uniforms but I believe Patagonia may have been the first to use camo color velcro.

I'll probably post some details of this uniform at some point.

At least 12 years, by SOD) Then some more manufacturers started to make it in a same way.

This has always been an exclusive uniform.  Issue is limited to small special units in all branches of Italian armed forces.

It is, and always has been a very difficult uniform to source for anyone not in a small special unit of  Italian armed forces..  Price for things like this are usually governed by demand.

For last 5-6 years not only special. For example, have seen ordinary Alpini in vegecam. And someone else, can't remember at the moment.

Will not agree, if you don't mind) Have seen lots of online offers in Annunci (Kijiji) and Subito + Ebay.it (however it likes to ban lots with vegecam asap) + Facebook groups + personal contacts. From 2013 (started to interest about it a little bit) till now. Moreover, I've met offers even with BA/PC, helmets, chest rigs, warbelts and other equip in vegecam. Not saying about all types of clothes (in all conditions).

Not sure, but might be also Rangers (Alpipara). At least they liked MS2000, Nacre and that footwear)

Yes, could be Alpini Paras.   They are a Ranger Type unit,but not a strictly Ranger unit as in the US.

Buttons are very cool.  We've seen this before, but not to this extent..

There is now a new Italian Veg type uniform that is part of  Soldato Futuro program which is basically a copy of the SOG uniform but not in a Vegecam pattern and using different fabrics.
First phot shows a well worn blouse on Italian eBay.  Fairly certain it is 100% cotton and obviously ripstop.

Guys, beware of ALGI or something like that. Fabric seems to be very similar to PX Prato, which I personally used a lot. And it was worst vegetata I've ever had. In fact, quality even worse than Mil-Tec or Defcon. Much better is to find on Ebay.it or other italian marketplaces ordinary original version (Lovers, Catapano etc). I mean current issue (2013+).
