ARW issue Seyntex multicam crye g2 copy.

Found these on GBF militaria, always assumed they used Crye Precision g2 or g3 sets. Not a Seyntex copy. Makes sense though considering a few years back some units trialed these in DPM.

First deployment of the unit to MINUSMA in Mali in 2019 were issued Crye G3's. Very expensive though.

Seyntex are the main supplier of Operational uniforms to the DF.

They produced the trousers above and a matching UBACS for trial on subsequent trips.

And do crye style knee pads fit them or do Seyntex make a proprietary version?

Both AFAIK.

Our Snipers are issued a version of these in IP-DPM. Due to COVID the planned rollout to all operational units has been cancelled and this style of trouser will instead form part of the new operational uniform due in service circa 2023/4

And is there any truth to the rumours of going around that DPM is changing to a new pattern ?
Also has a new bodyarmour contractor been decided yet? And any idea of when rollout is? If memory serves be right safariland first spear and the company that makes Aus Army TBAS were trialed for contract.

Yes. Official title. IP-DDPM refers to the Irish Desert Pattern.

Yes. We are going to Multicam or a derivative of same circa 2023/4.
