    Howdy!

    I found this Spear/balcs vest at a surplus store in Clare, Michigan. Does anyone know anything about DCU vests like this? The plates are also Ceradyne, BUT dated 0601, while the carrier is dated 0204.

    Both plates and outer carrier are missing "US" and guberment ownership markings.

    You have the SF type of the SPEAR BALCS armor, looking at the mesh inside it's the maritime version, the other version having a closed fabric inside
