Hello all, recently got in this plain green uniform that was advertised as Israeli but the cut and tags look Arabic to me, any ideas as to what it could be?
From photos I've looked at it doesn't appear to be Israeli, Syrian, or Egyptian but I could be mistaken as I don't have much knowledge of pre-camo era Middle Eastern uniforms.
The whole uniform is quite basic, starting with the shirt it has:
-Button front, cuffs, and epaulets
-Collar with a stitch-line through the middle to help with folding
-Two button chest pockets with cut corners, scalloped flaps, and pleats in the middle
The trousers:
-Button waist and fly
-Cuff drawstrings
-Three fake button-down belt loops for a large web or stable belt
The uniform appears unissued as there is no signs of wear or fading, and many of the buttonholes are still not fully cut open to be usable.
It also appears to be made at lower quality as there is rough stitching, seams, and loose threads
Other than the red and white fabric tags there are no other markings.
