Article on Multicam uniform plans

I stumbled upon this article from early 2022 talking about Multicam uniforms for the Belgian Armed Forces, including (for the first time) uniforms in female cut:

Hello Steve!
I have to admit this is kind of old news by now.
Since the full camoflage changeover already happend last year.

They are crye g4 uniforms, manufactered by Sioen and Seyntex.
A contact has told me however, that the "tactical jacket"(smock) has only been issued in small numbers to KMS troops.
Thus meaning, that the system lacks any type of cold weather outer layer, for now.

In the works, as can be seen on the bdcs instagram, there is also a plate carrier, to replace the current sioen model.
Most likely a crye cpc copy. Also in devellopment are a helmet cover and other pouches, in multicam. (instead of current "kangeroo" brown)

Only being rolled out to troops deployed with the EFP since December. Rest of the Force to follow.

Incorrect. The troops have been issued with the High Loft Jacket since the rollout commenced.
