    Good Afternoon everybody ,
I would like to know in which year TRF's has been officially issued and the standard dimensions ( if any).
A suggestion on seller/s of original TRF's should be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards.

Dimensions vary, Corps and Regimental DZ flashes / TRF's (right sleeve) are generally set to a set size depending on shape (rectangle/square etc) and the odd Brigade / Unit (left sleeve) TRF's (mainly the triangular ones) have a set standard dimension but most Brigade / Unit TRF's vary wildly in dimension by shape.

Prior to everyone going patch mad, I believe sometime in the mid/late 90's or the 2000's flashes were only really worn by airborne elements to identify the various troops on landing, most of the rest of the Army following the logic of not applying a myriad of brightly coloured bits of fabric to camouflage uniforms as they defeat the point (and that combats back at that point in time were for battle pt/exercise/war and not everyday wear like they are now).

Direct from Dress Regulations for the British Army

09.510 TRFs serve as a means of identifying Regt/Corps units in the field, but are also used
for Regt/Corps purposes (for recruiting). Although various forms of unofficial unit badges have
been worn both during and after the 2nd WW, they were only formally recognised in 2002. They
are worn only by trained adult soldiers on combat uniform on the right arm below any Para/SAS
qualification badge, and overall dimensions are not to exceed 6 x 6 cms. While formerly DZ
Flashes (DZF) were larger at 7 x 7 cms, those units authorised to wear former DZFs (e.g. PARA)
as TRFs are to wear DZF no larger than 6 x 6 cms. Most TRFs are authorised as coloured badges
but when worn on operations, all TRFs are in subdued colours of green and black as a means of
identifying Regt/Corps units in the field, but are also used for Regt/Corps purposes (for
recruiting). They are worn on the right blanking plate below any Para/SAS qualification badge,
and again overall dimensions are not to exceed 6x6 cms. On shirts without a blanking plate, the
TRF is to be sewn onto the sleeve so that it is at the same height and position as the Formation
Flash on the opposite arm. While formerly DZ Flashes (DZF) were larger at 7x7 cms, those units
authorised to wear former DZFs (e.g. PARA) as TRFs are to wear DZF no larger than 6x6 cms.
