Did I get lucky?

Found these two Rhodie Shirts at my local surplus store today... can anyone help me figure out if they're original or not?

Neither shirt has a label or markings other than a size tag. On one there isn't anything left, but the other has a faint 48 which seems to be habd written but is too faded to tell.

One shirt does have what seems to be very faint patch ghosts, one on the inside under the collar and one where the "army" patch is usually applied.

I have very little knowledge about Rhodesian camo, but I've scored many great items from this shop before, and it came in with a lot of some other nice camo.

Are there any hints, tips, or tricks to determine originals from reproductions?

They certainly look to be original to me. But it makes one wonder how they ended up in a Surplus store after so many years. You'd think a collector would have aquired them somewhere along the way.

The gentleman who runs it knows my tastes and purchases things he think I will like. He is a great guy and well liked it the area so lots of stuff gets brought into his shop and he has bought up alot of collections. These came in with a bunch of unique camo uniforms he bought from a deceased collector. You never know what will come out of the wood work! Now all i need to do is fund an original South African FAL parts kit and ill be in business! Thanks for your help, I appreciate your input greatly and am glad these are looking like originals!
