Re: Danish Desert Uniform
At first I thought there are two different patterns, but I see now they are the same. But there is a big difference in how much of the background shows depending on where the cloth was cut.

Re: Danish Desert Uniform
Of course, it was Gilles who stole that beautiful badged Danish set from me! That was a great deal, congrats.

Nice uniforms, Gilles!
How do you guys find these on eBay?!? I search every term imaginable for this uniform and nothing ever turns up.

Re: Danish Desert Uniform
There's been a bunch of trousers up on eBay UK over the past year, but other than that I've not seen much (then again, I'm not looking). My complete set came directly from a soldier after returning from Iraq (got body armor and helmet covers too ) and the other one I got through a trade. Contacts are always the best way to get the controlled stuff.

Re: Danish Desert Uniform
Hey nice stuff, I recognized that the Danes placed the zipper on the
ubacs on the same position like the Austrians did it on the new Jagdkommando ubacs pieces.
Cool.

Re: Danish Desert Uniform
I have 2 Danish desert shirt / jackets one is as issued the other has been modified by having the bottom pockets removed and velcro fastening cuffs added. I have not included the unmodified shirt as it is pretty well covered.

Re: Danish Desert Uniform
Nice piece Graham,
Velcro mods on cuffs is a good idea, especially in the field. The standard system is very cool, but a bit overdone..
Now you've got my gears spinning.. Need to find a spare shirt...
